On Sunday, January 19 at 2 PM the Historical Society of Old Yarmouth will present Plimoth Plantation Re-enactor Doug Blake as William Bradford at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod.

A passenger on the Mayflower, William Bradford arrived and settled in what became known as Plymouth, Massachusetts in 1620. William Bradford was a signatory of the Mayflower Compact and served as Governor for more than 30 years. During this time he documented life in Plymouth in a two-volume set called "Of Plymouth Plantation," Which has become one of the most important accounts of early life in New England. This historical record is one of the most important accounts of early life in New England.

Admission to the event is $10 at the door. No reservations required.

The Cultural Center of Cape Cod is at 307 Old Main Street in South Yarmouth.
