“Let’s Take a Trip on the Train,” a show of artwork by Louise Luckenbill, is on view at FCTV through August 1. An opening reception for the show is planned for 3 to 5 PM on Sunday.

“Let’s Take a Trip on the Train,” artwork by Louise Luckenbill, will be on display it the gallery at FCTV Sunday, July 7 through August 1. The public is invited to a reception with the artist on Sunday from 3 to 5 PM.

Ms. Luckenbill received the Wes Lazott award for new artists at the Falmouth Art Center in 2002 for her watercolor painting, “Wind,” and she has had entries accepted in juried shows at the Falmouth Art Center and the Cotuit Center for the Arts.

“With this mixed media exhibit,” Ms. Luckenbill said, “I aim to share part of my happy experience traveling on Amtrak from East to West and North to South in the United States, limited only by visits to relatives and friends, sights and tourist destinations.”

The Gallery at FCTV is located within the new Falmouth Community Media Center, 310 Dillingham Avenue, easily accessible by Rose Morin Lane. The new entrance is on the opposite side of the old FCTV and Maser Gallery building.
