The Cultural Center of Cape Cod will host a three-day workshop for children ages 6 to 10 in building fairy and gnome houses, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, July 27, 28 and 29.

Children will use natural materials to create their own miniature home for indoor fairies, gnomes and other magical beings. They will plan, design, and build their structures under the guidance of instructor Lenore Lyons. With reeds and grapevine they will construct walls, then finish them by weaving and attaching fibers, and raffia. They may add a roof, loft or other additions.

On the final day, they will make the miniature woodland figures. Students will learn to use hot glue safely with permission. Cost is $160. Time is 9:30 AM to noon all three days. Registration is through the center’s website.
