The Falmouth Cultural Council is looking for organizations, schools and individuals to apply for grants that support cultural activities in the community. The 2021 grant cycle begins Thursday, October 1, and ends Monday, November 16.

Grants can support a variety of artistic projects and activities in Falmouth, including exhibits, festivals, field trips, short-term artistic residencies or performances in schools, workshops and lectures.

The council is part of a network of 329 local cultural councils serving all 351 cities and towns in the commonwealth. This year the council will distribute about $6,000 in grants.

The council will hold a grant writing workshop on Zoom on Tuesday, October 20, at 7 PM. More information will be available at a later date.

For local guidelines and complete details on the council, email parhialaj@hotmail.com. Application forms and more information about the local cultural council program are at www.mass-culture.org.
