Falmouth Community Television will be hosting an online learning experience titled “The Falmouth Ukulele Project.” Ukulele classes will be taught online using the Zoom teleconference platform with noted local musician Steve Gregory as the instructor. The project is intended to offer a fun, creative and educational activity for participants of all ages during the COVID-19 pandemic. The classes will culminate with a special online concert featuring the participants performing songs they learned.

The classes will start Tuesday, July 7, and run for six weeks on Tuesday evenings from 7 to 8:15 PM. The fee to participate in the ukulele project is $150 per student for the entire six weeks. Participants will have to supply their own ukulele. Instructor Steve Gregory has been a music teacher at Score Music Studios in Sandwich since 2006. He is also a vocalist and guitarist in the jazz duo Too Cool and is the founder of the Cotuit Center for the Arts Ukulele Orchestra. The ukulele project is funded in part by a grant by the Falmouth Cultural Council.
