Ginnie Peterson of North Falmouth, founder of Crocus Hill Studios, will lead two floral design workshops at the Meetinghouse Clay Center in Cataumet. Both classes are scheduled for Wednesday, May 5, and will take place outdoors. Rain date is May 6.

Artichoke Arrangements will take place from 10:30 AM until noon at a cost of $75. In the workshop, artichokes will be used as containers for an arrangement and participants will learn techniques that can be transferred to other fruits and vegetables.

Botanical Pendants is schedule for 12:30 to 2 PM at a cost of $70. In this class, students will adorn themselves with a fresh flower pendant or make a pendant for someone special.

Workshop fees include all materials. Both classes are part of the Compatible Crafts Workshops series, created to highlight creating of other craft media at the center.
