Hundreds of dollars in prize money is on the line this year for the Falmouth Art Center’s annual Juried Photography Show.

Submissions to the show must be sent in through an online portal, although the selected works for the show will be on display in person at the center from April 30 to May 31.

The deadline for submissions is Monday, March 8, at 11:59 PM.

Photographers will be notified by email as to whether they have been accepted to the show by March 23. The list of those accepted will also be posted on the Falmouth Art Center’s website.

The photo that is chosen as “Best in Show” will be awarded $200 and there will be four other jury prizes of $100.

This year, the photos will be judged by a panel of award-winning photography professionals led by Nancy Green, a trained Photographers of America exhibition judge with a portrait studio in Plymouth.

The other two judges will be Susan Asaro of Wareham and Bruce Skinner of Carver. Ms. Asaro is a past president of both the Professional Photographers of Association and Professional Photographers of Cape Cod. Mr. Skinner has been lauded for his landscape, environmental, architectural and portrait work.

The fee to enter for members of the Falmouth Art Center is $15 for the first image and $10 for additional images. Non-members pay $20 for the first image and $15 for each image thereafter.

The full prospectus for the show and the link to participate can be found at the Falmouth Art Center’s website. Additional information is available by calling the art center at 508-540-3304.
