Kat Wright will perform Friday, September 13, at the Spire Center in Plymouth.

Vocalist Kat Wright will perform at the Spire Center in Plymouth on Friday, September 13, at 8 PM.

Ms. Wright has been described as a young Bonnie Raitt meets Amy Winehouse. Backing Ms. Wright will be Josh Weinstein on bass, Bob Wagner on guitar, John Kimock and Colin Jalbert on drums, Shane Hardiman on keys, Luke Laplant on baritone saxophone, Jake Whitesell on tenor saxophone and Phil Rodriguez on trumpet.

Recently featured in Eugene Jarecki’s Grammy-nominated film “The King,” Ms. Wright is currently recording a full-length album produced by Eric Krasno.

Ms. Wright has appeared as a special guest vocalist with Grace Potter, Marco Benevento, Rubblebucket, Leftover Salmon, Ryan Montbleau, Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra, Voodoo Dead, Steve Kimock & Friends, and others.
