The Cotuit Center for the Arts will hold its 19th annual Art and Souls Masquerade Ball, Day of the Dead, on Friday, November 1, at 7:30 PM.

This year the theme is a Dia de los Muertos and Woodstock monster-sized mash-up.

The evening will feature music by DJ Ian Lee, dancing, refreshments, a cash bar, and, if past Art and Souls Balls are any indication, a multitude of hilarious, frightening and creative costumes.

While an elaborate costume is not required, many attendees make their own costumes, from the very simple to the intricately crafted. Couples and groups are encouraged to develop themed costumes.

There will be prizes for Funniest, Scariest, Group and Best Woodstock-inspired costumes.

Admission is $10. Cotuit Center for the Arts is at 4404 Route 28.
