Reptiles, including lizards, snakes and alligators will be part of “Reptiles Rock!”—a Rainforest Reptiles show—at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History.

The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster will present “Reptiles Rock!”—a Rainforest Reptiles show—on Wednesday at 9:30 AM.

The show will engage children of all ages at a hands-on level. It includes a mini zoo setup with 10 to 14 smaller animals such as bugs, frogs, snakes and lizards to observe. Plus, there will be an informative presentation by a Rainforest Reptile herpetologist with four larger animals, including a large red or yellow foot tortoise, a large monitor or tegu lizard, a 9- to 10-foot boa or python, and the American alligator. All habitats are tropical or semitropical rainforests.

Throughout the presentation there will be opportunities for volunteers to assist. After the program, everyone will have the opportunity to handle one of the reptiles under supervision.

Tickets are $15 per person, which does not include museum admission. Tickets are available online only. Questions can be directed to 508-896-3867, extension 133.
