FCTV Mutti Family

Photographs by three members of the Mutti family will be on view in the gallery at Falmouth Community Television in October. An opening reception for the show, which features photographs by David Mutti (above), Gary Mutti and Carly Kenny, will take place from 3 to 5 PM on Sunday, October 6.

“A Family Thing,” featuring photography by Mutti Artography, will be on display at the Gallery at Falmouth Community Television from October 6 to 30.

The public is invited to an opening reception for the show Sunday, October 6, from 3 to 5 PM.

David Mutti has been on the Cape and around Woods Hole since the early 1970s. He is an award-winning artist and a proficient photographer who claims to “see life through a viewfinder.”

David’s brother, Gary Mutti, has lived in Falmouth for the last 10 years and as a photographer has taken advantage of all the beauty Cape Cod has to offer, often referring to David as his mentor.

Carly Kenny, David’s daughter, lives in Forestdale. She, too, is an accomplished artist who uses the harvests from her garden as subjects for her still life pieces.

The brothers have exhibited at the Maser Gallery in the past, and now the addition of Ms. Kenny truly makes it “a family thing.”

The Gallery at Falmouth Community Television is in the new Falmouth Community Media Center, which is at 310 Dillingham Avenue, easily accessible by Rose Morin Lane. The new entrance is on the opposite side of the old Falmouth Community Television and Maser Gallery building.
