The Cape Cod Theatre Company will present "A Time To Listen," a virtual cabaret, on Thursday, June 25, at 7:30 PM. The event will be streamed live on the company's Facebook page. For the event, the company's producing artistic director Nina Schuessler and stage manager Hannah McLaughlin invited Black Indigenous People of Color performers from the Cape and Boston to perform songs, poems and monologues that were meaningful to their own lives and careers. The Cabaret will feature Olivia Thompson, LeVane Harrington, Sara-Ann Semedo, Jordan Drakeford, Susannah Brown, Aaron Michael Ray, Sallie Tighe and Lance Patrick Strickland. Donations can be made to support Black Lives Matter as well as to the Cape Cod Theatre Company as they move forward in providing more diversity-inclusive programs.
