WBNERR DUKWs

Amphibious DUKW vehicles being operated on Cape Cod.

Joe Yukna, director of the Cape Cod Military Museum, will give a photo lecture titled “Cape Cod, the Cradle of Invasion” on Saturday, November 27, at 2 PM at the Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve Boathouse in East Falmouth.

The talk will present a unique opportunity to learn about Engineer Amphibious Command while overlooking the bay that was their headquarters during WWII. The free lecture will take place from 2 to 3 PM and will be followed by a question and answer period.

The Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve is at 131 Waquoit Highway (Route 28) in East Falmouth.
