Cape Cod Church is hosting a lecture and question-and-answer session titled “Despair, Resiliency, and Hope: Understanding and Navigating Depression After COVID-19” with Dr. James Manganello. This will be available in person or live online Sunday, April 25, at 7 PM.

In light of the unique challenges the pandemic poses, this talk will explore various types of depression, its causes and possible treatments, Dr. Manganello will explain how recovery is possible and why we can still hope for the future.

Dr. Manganello has more than 40 years of experience providing psychological therapy to multigenerational/multicultural families and individuals. He studied at Boston University and Harvard University and was both clinical psychology intern and clinical and research fellow in the Department of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital. His interests brought him to additional studies in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and understanding emotional traumatic stress.
