The Dennis Harwich Lions have free cloth masks available upon request. Seniors and high-risk Cape Cod residents are a priority.

Also, mask kits that are pre-cut and all-inclusive are available through the Dennis Harwich Lions Make-A-Mask Challenge committee. The club also needs volunteers who can sew; 100 percent cotton and light flannel cloth; and stamps.

Since the Lions must expend all monetary donations to charity each year, like most charities, their planned income fundraisers are suspended indefinitely due to COVID-19. This emergency undertaking relies on donations specifically for this use.

To request masks or make a donation, write to the Dennis Harwich Lions Make-A Mask Fund, PO Box 41, Dennisport 02360. Include name and address.

The Dennis Harwich Lions are a 501(c)(3) charity.
