There will be a regional household hazardous waste collection October 16 from 9 AM to 1 PM at the Bourne Landfill at 201 MacArthur Boulevard (Route 28 North) for all four Upper Cape towns.

Items such as yard chemicals, cleaners, auto fluids, marine paints and sealers will be accepted. A full brochure with details can be viewed at on the ISWM Department website.

Paper shredding will be offered again to Bourne residents only. A private shredding company will be available to collect sensitive paperwork that will be shredded and recycled. Acceptance will be done on a first-come, first-served basis and will end when the vendor’s container has reached capacity. There is a three-box limit per person.

The paint shed at the Residential Recycling Center will close for the season after normal hours of operation Saturday.
