The Annual Members’ Meeting of the Pocasset Village Association will take place at 9:30 AM on Saturday at the Pocasset Community Building, 314 Barlows Landing Road.

Featured speaker is Barry Johnson, chairman of the Bourne Community Preservation Committee. Mr. Johnson will provide an overview of the history, accomplishments and outlook for Bourne’s Community Preservation Committee. He will also participate in a ribbon cutting for the building’s new bathroom facilities, generously funded by a CPC grant from Community Preservation Act funds, and approved by Bourne citizens at Town Meeting, to the PVA’s sister organization, the Pocasset Village Foundation, Inc.

The facilities include a new accessible bathroom on the main floor, a new bathroom for the lower-level meeting room, upgraded electrical service and renovated storage areas. Members of the Community Preservation Committee, as well as members of the select board, have been invited.

Membership in the Pocasset Village Association is open to all year-round and seasonal residents of the Pocasset area.
