A single car rollover crash happened on Route 25 and resulted in the driver being helicoptered to the hospital with traumatic injuries.

Bourne Deputy Fire Chief Paul Weeks said that Bourne firefighters responded to the crash around 9:40 PM, Friday, January 8. The crash happened in the median strip on the westbound, off-Cape side of the highway, Dep. Chief Weeks said.

The driver, a man in his 20s, was ejected from his vehicle, a four-door sedan, Dep. Chief Weeks said. The victim was the sole occupant in the car. He was taken by ambulance to Tobey Hospital in Wareham and flown by medical helicopter to another hospital for treatment of injuries described as traumatic.
