A single-vehicle crash in Sagamore Beach sent one man to the hospital.

Bourne police said they responded to the crash on Swift Road at 4:46 PM, Monday, July 1.

Bourne Police Lieutenant Jonathan R. MacDougall said that a 75-year-old man from Marshfield crashed his black 2004 Chevrolet Silverado.

“Swift Road is a dead end,” Lt. MacDougall said. “He crashed his vehicle into an embankment at the end of the street.”

The driver was transported to a local hospital. Lt. MacDougall did not comment on the nature of the man’s injuries.
