MacArthur Boulevard Car Fire

Bourne firefighters work to extinguish a car fire on MacArthur Boulevard.

No one was reported to be injured when a car caught on fire on MacArthur Boulevard last night, Saturday, June 8.

The Bourne Fire Department was called to the southbound lane of MacArthur Boulevard in the area of Bobcat of Bourne around 6:50 PM. The police department also responded to the scene.

During the incident, traffic was restricted to a single lane.

While the car was fully engulfed in flames, no one was injured and the fire was put out quickly. The scene was cleared and the road was reopened by 7:16 PM, police said.
