A New Hampshire man was arrested in Middleboro on Saturday night, May 23, in connection with an armed robbery that occurred earlier in the day at Bourne Bridge Liquors in Buzzards Bay.
Adam Hodge, 43, of Loudon, New Hampshire, has been charged with armed robbery while masked and larceny under $1,200.
On Saturday, at approximately 5:30 PM, Bourne police received a 911 call reporting an armed robbery at Bourne Bridge Liquors, according to a press release from Sergeant James M. Czyryca.
The suspect brandished a knife during the robbery and fled the scene in a white SUV with an unspecified amount of cash, Sgt. Czyryca wrote.
Later, Massachusetts State Police located and stopped the vehicle while traveling on Route 495 in Middleboro. The cash, knife and clothing worn during the robbery were recovered from the vehicle, and Mr. Hodge was placed under arrest, Sgt. Czyryca said.
