Bourne Senior Spotlight

Nadia Prairie

Nadia Prairie has spent her time at Bourne High School as a member of the volleyball and lacrosse teams.

After graduation, Nadia said she plans to study psychology at Bridgewater State University. She wants to branch off from her major, she said, to give nonverbal autism a bigger voice in therapeutic resources.

Nadia’s fondest memories in school involve her friends and her teachers.

“Finding my true and forever friend, Holly Miller, and having the most supportive teachers constantly motivate me to get past all of the difficult times because the future holds enormous possibilities,” she said.

Nadia thanked her grandmother, her younger sister, her mother, her father and her late grandfather, David Prairie.

“Rest in peace, Grampy,” she said.
