Cape Cod Senior Residences held their fifth annual Senior Prom for residents and staff at the Independent & Assisted Living Community on June 27.

Each year at this special event, guests get to relive fond memories of school dances as they dress to the nines, enjoy a gourmet meal prepared by the community’s culinary team and strut out onto the dance floor enjoying classic hits, both new and old.

This year’s dance was truly a community effort, with several groups and individuals outside Cape Cod Senior Residences pitching in.

Cape Destinations of Harwich generously donated a limo where guests could have their photos taken. Jim Potter, a friend to a resident, donated his classic Ford Thunderbird for photos as well. Wayne Soares, who performs occasionally at the senior community, gathered a group of his friends to serve as escorts for the residents as they arrived to the dance. Guests enjoyed music provided by DJ Dana Tobey.
