Alba Tontini, a lifelong resident of Sagamore, died February 1 at Keystone Place at Buzzards Bay. She was 92.

She was the daughter of Felice and Theresa (Regis) Marchisio.

Ms. Tontini worked as a telephone operator with New England Telephone Company for 35 years.

She leaves her daughter, Nancy Whittum of Sarasota, Florida; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tello Tontini, in 2010; as well as by two sisters, Lillia Marchisio and Olga Consoni, and a brother, Paul Marchisio.

A funeral Mass will be said on Tuesday, February 9, at Corpus Christi Church, 324 Quaker Meetinghouse Road in East Sandwich, followed by interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Grove Street, Sandwich.
