Beverly (Gramkow) Triff, 84, of Cataumet died December 9 at The Arbors of Bedford in Bedford, New Hampshire.

She was the widow of Roland Triff.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of Irving and Margaret (Nay) Gramkow.

She graduated from Skidmore College with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and received her master’s degree from Boston University.

Ms. Triff’s nursing career included working at Boston Lying-In Hospital, where she administered to the needs of children in iron lung machines; working as a labor and delivery nurse; and caring for the students at the Fessenden School in Newton.

She leaves three sons, Pete Melinn of Winslow, Maine, Doug Melinn of Merrimack, New Hampshire, and Jeff Melinn of Cataumet; three grandchildren; a sister, Anne Deane of Framingham; a niece and nephew; and other extended family.

A service in celebration of her life is planned for a later time.
