Colin James Crowley, 20, of Sagamore Beach died May 25 as the result of a single-vehicle automobile accident in Sagamore Beach.

The son of Kimberly Ann (Breen) and Robert J. Crowley, he was born in Plymouth.

During his school years in Bourne, he participated in sports and in high school he played lacrosse and football for the Bourne Canalmen. In his leisure hours he could be found spending time with friends in his neighborhood, often at Clarke Field Recreation Area.

A graduate in Bourne High School’s Class of 2019, he recently completed his studies at Cape Cod Community College, earning an associate’s degree in liberal arts.

Mr. Crowley was a chef at Whaleback Restaurant in Sagamore, where he was known for his work ethic and witty humor.

He leaves his father, also of Sagamore Beach; his younger sister, Breanne Crowley; his grandparents, Catherine Crowley of Sagamore Beach and Bill and Judy Breen of Alton, New Hampshire; and extended family.

He was predeceased by his mother, who died in March 2019, and also by his grandfather Robert J. Crowley, who died the next month.

Services were Friday, June 4, with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bourne.
