Craig F. Murray, 81, of Bourne died July 15 at Bourne Manor, following a period of failing health.

He was born and raised in Brockton, the son of Wallace J. and Rose (Harper) Murray.

He was graduated from Brockton High School in 1955 and attended Bridgewater State College.

Mr. Murray served in the US Army Reserve from 1961 to 1964.

For many years, Mr. Murray worked for local supermarkets until his retirement from Stop & Shop, where he was produce manager.

He loved music and playing the piano; and was an avid older model car enthusiast who would spend hours tinkering on his cars.

He leaves two sisters, G. Marilyn Derby of Hanson and Bette Puopolo of Monument Beach; and 27 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his siblings Robert W. Murray, Richard H. Murray, Lois A. Perkins and Rosemary Moran.
