Daniel James Weston, a former Bourne resident, died unexpectedly on April 2 at his home in Wareham. He was 41.
The son of Larry E. and Brenda L. (Ellis) Weston, he graduated from Bourne High School and then attended Vermont Technical College. For most of his life, he lived in Buzzards Bay.
Mr. Weston worked as a carpenter for many years. He also built birdhouses and bird feeders, and worked on his family’s cranberry bogs.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting; and also loved to cook, often sharing his specialties.
He leaves his parents and two sisters, Rebecca Silverbrand and Elizabeth Laplante, all of Buzzards Bay; a brother, Larry Edward Weston Jr. of Plymouth; two nieces, Samantha Silverbrand and Sabrina Silverbrand; and his partner, Renee Visconti of Wareham.
A celebration of Mr. Weston’s life will be Saturday, July 20, at 1 PM at the Ellis/Weston property at Herring Pond. In case of inclement weather, the gathering will take place the following day at the same time.
