Jeremy Warner Murray, the son of Donna Fish of Bourne and James Murray of Sandwich, died at home in Bourne on May 28. He was 35.
Born in Lake Arrowhead, California, he moved to Falmouth with his mother and brother, James Murray, in 1988. He attended Falmouth schools and earned his GED. He had begun his plans to go to trade school to become an electrician.
Mr. Murray worked as a painter. He also helped to install concrete foundations and did warehouse work. He looked forward to home ownership.
He had enjoyed playing paintball with his friends and brother, as well as swimming, boating and fishing on Great Herring Pond with his aunt and uncle Kathryn and Danny Hunt. He also loved hiking and exploring nature with his brother, mother and stepfather, Danny Lunedei. Many summers were spent traveling from California up the coast to Washington with his brother and aunt and uncle Patricia and Gary Byrd; once there they would camp and fish for salmon.
Mr. Murray loved music and working out at the gym, and he and his 15-year-old son often lifted weights together.
In addition to his parents, he leaves his son, Jayden W. Murray of Bourne; his daughter, Janessa Murray of Maine; his girlfriend, Crystal Fritz; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his brother; and by his grandparents, Catherine Harding Stenquist and Warner J. Stenquist of Plymouth and William and Jean Murray of Sandwich.
A celebration of his life is planned for a future date to be determined.
