Judith Ann Chamillard, 80, of Bourne died June 24 after a brief illness.

The daughter of Albert and Myrtice (Keene) Jenks and the youngest of 15 children, she was raised in Norton.

She met Albert Chamillard in her hometown and they married June 27, 1959. She and her husband continued to live in Norton and during that time participated in Cub Scouts, a camping club and the Joyful Sounds singing group. They were active members of Chartley United Methodist Church, including singing in the church choir.

Ms. Chamillard started her professional life as secretary to the president of supermarket Fernandes in Norton; she went on to other office jobs and was office manager at Club Car Enterprises in Cataumet at the time of her retirement.

She and her husband moved to Bourne in 1983 and joined Bourne United Methodist Church, singing in its choir and serving on various boards. Ms. Chamillard was a member of the United Methodist Women and became a lay speaker at church; she also worked with the church thrift shop.

Her hobbies included knitting, needlepoint, and flower gardening. For several years she participated with the TOPS Club.

In addition to her husband, she leaves their four children, Tami Trask Good, Tim Chamillard, Tracy Scalia and Tara Jacobs; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother.

Funeral services were Wednesday, June 30, at Bourne United Methodist Church, followed by a celebration of her life.
