Lindsay E. West of Pocasset, who grew up in Sandwich, died August 23 at the McCarthy Care Center in East Sandwich. She was 30.

She was born in Cleveland, Ohio.

In her youth, she played softball and soccer, and had enjoyed many years of cheerleading. She graduated from Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical School in Bourne and, later, received her certified nursing assistant certificate from the same school.

Ms. West enjoyed working as a CNA for many nursing homes both on Cape Cod and off-Cape.

She leaves her parents, Eric and Lyn (Burke) West of Pocasset and Nokomis, Florida; her daughter, Sofia Fellini; a sister, Caleigh West; grandmothers Karen West and Brenda Burke; and other family members.

She was predeceased by her mother, Stefanie Potichny; a brother, Jason Rutan Sr.; and her grandfather Wayne West.

Visitation will be Monday, August 30, from 4 to 7 PM at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A in Sandwich.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 31, at 10 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 841 Shore Road in Pocasset.

Interment will be at Cataumet Cemetery.
