Maurice Roland Belliveau, 85, of Bourne died August 11 at his home.

He was the husband of Jean M. (Amaral) Belliveau.

Born in New Bedford, he was the son of Emile J. and Delia (Vaudry) Belliveau.

Mr. Belliveau was an equipment installer for New England Telephone and retired in 1991. He was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

He served in the United States Navy from 1952 to 1956 and was a veteran of the Korean War.

A previous resident of Buzzards Bay, Mr. Belliveau moved to Rochester and lived there for many years before moving back to Monument Beach. He was a winter resident of Naples, Florida.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his children, Susan Latino of Shelton, Connecticut, Lori Sweeney of Pocasset and Glenn S. Belliveau of Rochester; seven grandchildren, Samuel Sweeney, Jonathan Latino, Thomas Sweeney, William Latino, Tyler Belliveau, Jessica Belliveau and Sarah Belliveau; and extended family.

He was predeceased by three brothers, Emile Belliveau, George Belliveau and Roger Belliveau.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 22, from 4 to 7 PM at Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway in Wareham.

A private ceremony will be at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
