I recently watched two COVID-19 weekly video updates presented by Falmouth Health Agent Scott McGann. Scott’s presentation was thorough, easily understood and targeted to all Falmouth residents so that anyone currently living in town, regardless of age or education, can understand the impact this pandemic has on his or her daily life. Individuals holding leadership positions in Falmouth’s town government appear to understand the value of communication that keeps residents informed about the impact of virus cases and whether cases are either increasing or decreasing, on a timely basis.

I am disappointed that the leadership in Bourne does not embrace the same urgency to communicate directly on a regular basis with residents to keep people informed how COVID-19 cases are impacting residents, nursing homes or assisted living occupants.
