Thank you to the Harlem Rockets and the volunteers on the Bourne Dream Team for making this a spectacular night for the community and ConfiKids.

On Friday, October 11, the Bourne Middle school hosted an epic night for the community and ConfikIds, a nonprofit organization that provides scholarships to local children to enroll in enrichment, sports, music and arts programs. The Harlem Rockets put on a fantastic event competing against members of the local community on the Bourne Dream Team. Selectman Peter Meier and firefighters Ryan Haden and Greg Stock, alongside school administrators, teachers, coaches and others played their hearts out for over 100 families in the Bourne Middle School gymnasium.

The event raised over $8,200 for ConfiKids for scholarships to be used in the local area for 2020.

Thank you to the Bourne School System for all your support, the Pound who performed at halftime, all our volunteers and to Maura Dankert for organizing the whole event. Thanks to all the wonderful families that came out to support the players, Confikids and the community.

We had a great time and thank you for a wonderful evening.
