Bourne sophomore second baseman Brendan Sullivan has shown he has a flair for the dramatic.

In the Canalmen’s Division 4 South Sectional preliminary round game against Millis on Friday, June 7 at Coady Field, Sullivan drove in the game-tying run in the bottom of the seventh inning. He showed up once again to drive in the game-winning run in the bottom of the 11th with a seeing-eye single through the hole at second base to lift Bourne to a 6-5 win in extra innings.

He went 4-for-6 with three RBI on the day.

It wasn’t the first time the youngster came up big in a clutch. Back in May he helped his team to a 2-1 comeback win against archrival Wareham in a 2-1 win at Coady Field.
