The Rams’ volleyball team ended its season with its seventh straight loss.

Hosting St. John Paul II in a non-conference match on Monday, October 28,Upper Cape Tech fell 25-8, 27-25 and 25-22 to finish off its 2019 campaign.

Zoe Janicki led UCT from the service line, putting up eight points and three aces. Senior Taylor Richards had 11 service points to go with two aces and three kills. Sarah Vieira tallied nine points from the service line while head coach Karen Lafreniere commended the play of Bethan Davis and Nicaeyla Pires along the net. She added that Pires, Davis, Richards and Zoe Jackson-Laro played a key role on the back line.

The Rams (6-14, 4-9 MAC-Small) completed their regular season and did not qualify for the Division 3 South Sectional tournament. This is now the fourth straight season UCT did not make the postseason, dating back to 2015.
