Three Bourne residents were arrested last week on drug charges after the Bourne Police Department made “observations of narcotic activity” after entering a Buzzards Bay residence on an arrest warrant.

Police officers arrived at a house on Overlook Lane on August 19 searching for David J. Allain, 30, with a warrant for his arrest. After knocking on the front door three times, Bethany A. Rogers, 41, of Buzzards Bay answered and said it was only her and Ashley P. Lewandowski, 26, of Buzzards Bay inside the house.

The officers entered to search for Mr. Allain and found substances believed to be cocaine, heroin, crack cocaine and acid, in addition to scales and $155 cash inside.

The two women were arrested on charges of possession of drugs with intent to distribute. Mr. Allain was not found in the residence.

Officers and a detective returned to the house later that night around 1:30 AM August 20, to execute a search warrant and take the alleged drugs and drug-related items into evidence.

At that time Mr. Allain was arrested and charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute a Class A drug, two counts of possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug, one count of possession of a Class A drug and three counts of possession of a Class B drug.

Ms. Lewandowski is charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute a Class A drug, three counts of possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug, one count of possession of a Class A drug and three counts of possession of a Class B drug.

Ms. Rogers is facing charges of one count of possession with intent to distribute a Class A drug, three counts of possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug, one count of possession of a Class A drug and two counts of possession of a Class B drug.

Pretrial hearings for all of those charged will take place September 30 at Falmouth District Court. Mr. Allain was released on $500 bail. Ms. Lewandoski and Ms. Rogers were released on personal recognizance.
