It's that time of year, the unofficial start of summer ... the 48th Annual Strawberry Festival!

Started 48 years ago by Beth Bourne, and continued now by the Bourne Historical Society, the Annual Strawberry Festival is always wonderful summer fun for the whole family! Tour the grounds, historic buildings and enjoy a delicious strawberry shortcake with homemade biscuits & fresh whipped cream!

The Craft Fair begins at 10 AM: local artists and craftspeople will be participating in the craft fair. Find unique, local and handmade items!

New this year: the Aptucxet Garden Club will be selling plants in the Lyons Family Pavilion! The fresh, live plants are all ready to blossom in their new homes!

All the historic buildings on the site will be open including the Aptucxet Trading Post, the Grover Cleveland Train Station and the Joseph Jefferson Windmill. The Windmill is housing a special art installation this year - a 6-horse pedal-powered carousel created by local artist Lance Shinkle with hand carved horses and paintings by the artist. Come in to take a ride on this amazing work of art!
