The state will be hosting a second Stop the Spread COVID-19 testing event at the Sandwich Human Services Building.

On Wednesday, April 28, free testing will be available at the Quaker Meetinghouse Road location. Testing will be held from 2 to 6 PM and is open to all Sandwich residents.

The event is being held due to rising COVID-19 cases across the region.

Testing will be done in a drive-thru format, so residents will not be required to exit their vehicles in order to be tested. People will be notified only if they receive a positive result.

The testing is being offered at no cost and residents do not have to be symptomatic or have had a known exposure in order to be given a test.
