In recognition of LGBTQIA+ pride month in June, Falmouth Human Services, Senior Services and Public Library will host a viewing of the PBS documentary “Aging Matters: Aging with Pride,” on Friday, June 2, at 3:30 PM in the library’s Hermann Foundation Meeting Room.

This brief documentary examines the decades of legal and structural discrimination that have affected the well-being and economic status of many LGBTQIA+ older adults. The unique challenges they face are explored in the stories of several older adults who share their experiences. A panel discussion and open conversation will follow the viewing. Light refreshments will be served.
