Cape Cod Healthcare reopened Falmouth Urgent Care, which had been closed during the initial surge of COVID-19 cases, as of Monday, June 8. The center’s operating hours are from 9 AM to 7 PM Monday through Friday, and from 8 AM to 4 PM on weekends.

“With its June reopening, Falmouth Urgent Care will be ready to care for our community on the Upper Cape in time for the summer season. As with all CCHC Urgent Care centers, safe protocols are in place to protect patients and staff during a visit, including triage at the entrance upon arrival with a temperature check and distribution of masks for all patients who do not bring their own. Patients experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19 will continue their visit with a provider from their car via telemedicine,” Cape Cod Healthcare stated in a release.

The organization further stated it encourages patients to seek medical care for any urgent healthcare needs, “as we have seen patients in need of serious medical attention who have waited too long to visit the hospital. Our healthcare facilities, urgent care centers and hospitals are safe, and our staff are prepared to address your needs. If you have a question, please contact your provider.”
