Three high school seniors and a Cape Cod community college graduate were recently awarded scholarships from the Waquoit Congregational Church and the Holloway Family Trust.

This year’s graduating seniors are Sean Clifford of Mashpee High School, Elias Higgins of Sturgis Charter Public School and Madeline Newsom of King Philip Regional High School. Sean plans to study fire science at Cape Cod Community College, Elias will attend the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth, and Madeline will attend Bridgewater State University.

Jared Travis earned his associate’s degree at Cape Cod Community College and will continue his education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

“We’re always pleased to support our students, and we’re thrilled to recognize these four deserving individuals this year,” said the Reverend Nell Fields, senior minister at Waquoit Congregational Church. “We wish them all the best in their future endeavors.”
