summer bazaar

Unpacking Treasures are Beth Bagley, left, and Sandy Dethlefson sort through donations for Waquoit Church’s annual summer bazaar.

After a year hiatus, the Waquoit Church Summer Bazaar is scheduled for its regular appearance and needs the public’s help. Organizers are asking for donations for their bazaar, which will be held Friday, July 16, and Saturday, July 17, from 8 AM to 4 PM both days.

Needed now are donations of furniture and household items such as dressers, tables, bookcases, chairs, dish sets, books, tools, collectibles, jewelry, lamps, artwork, antiques, garden items, outdoor furniture, small boats, and more. Items that cannot be accepted include upholstered furniture, stuffed/plush toys, items made with particle board, gym equipment, luggage, electronics, clothing, or damaged/soiled items, or any large items such as highboys and china cabinets. They also ask that no broken, damaged, or soiled items be donated.

To arrange free pickup of large items, email and include a photo of the items if possible.

Small items, including small furniture, will be gratefully accepted and can be dropped off at the Waquoit Congregational Church Monday through Saturday, June 21 through 26, from 10 AM to 2 PM.

The church is located at 15 Parsons Lane, East Falmouth, on the corner of Route 28 and Parson’s Lane. For more information, contact the church at 508-548-5269.
