YMCA Cape Cod has reopened all but one of its Early Education Care locations and its summer camps. The action is in conjunction with the state’s health and safety guidelines and phased reopening plans.

Early Education Care locations reopened Monday, June 29, at the Falmouth Hospital campus and the North Falmouth Congregational Church. Camp openings occurred at YMCA Camp Lyndon in Sandwich on June 22 and YMCA Camp Falmouth on Wednesday, July 1.

Details regarding COVID-19 safety protocols, hours, fees and registration can be found at www.ymcacapecod.org and reopening guidelines at www.eeclead.force.com/apex/ EECChildCareEmergencyHealth Guidance.

With the change, YMCA Cape Cod ended its emergency childcare service on Sunday, June 28.

“It has been our honor to serve those families needing emergency childcare over the last three months. We have poured our hearts and souls into supporting the care and feeding of the Cape’s essential workers’ children,” YMCA chief executive officer Stacie Peugh said. “Our staff joined front line healthcare workers on their own front line, taking the risks necessary to stand strong for our community during this pandemic. We hope many of the families we served found a new home at the YMCA Cape Cod.”
