11:08 AM: Officers responded to Menauhant Road in regard to a crash. Upon arrival, officers learned that the crash involved three vehicles, one being a Falmouth DPW dump truck. Medics responded, but all involved refused treatment. An investigation revealed that a 2009 Dodge Ram pickup crossed the center line and struck a 2007 International dump truck owned by the Town of Falmouth. Debris from the crash struck and damaged a 2019 Subaru hatchback traveling behind the dump truck. Christopher Kellman, 50, of Mashpee was issued a citation for negligent operation and a marked lanes violation.

11:18 AM: Officers responded to a home off West Falmouth Highway to assist with a possible water leak. Upon arrival officers learned that the house appeared to have been broken into and the main waterline was somehow compromised. It is believed that the suspect(s) who broke into the home attempted to turn the water on and caused damage to the pipe. The home sustained a considerable amount of water damage. The appropriate notifications were made. The incident remains under investigation.

3:11 PM: Officers responded to a residence on Brick Kiln Road in regard to a past assault. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, who appeared to have several lacerations to his head and face. Medics were requested and later transported the victim to the hospital for further treatment. The victim refused to cooperate with officers. The incident remains under investigation.

Friday, February 28

6:05 AM: Officers found a man with two outstanding arrest warrants for probation violations. Richard J. Baker, 38, was taken into custody and processed without incident. No bail was set, per request of the issuing judge.

4:24 PM: Callers from the 99 Restaurant reported an intoxicated man in a parked car yelling at customers. The responding officers found Vincent Joseph Dantona, 78, was intoxicated and placed him in protective custody.

9:21 PM: An officer stopped a car in Teaticket because the registration was revoked, and the car was uninsured. The plates were seized and the car was left in the McDonald’s parking lot until it can be registered and insured.

Saturday, February 29

12:38 AM: Officers responded to a home on Jones Road for an unknown disturbance. One man, Spenser K. Johnathan, was found to have a warrant for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and taken into custody.

3:21 AM: Police responded to a report of an overdose, and Narcan was administered by the victim’s roommates. Police requested an ambulance. Medics treated the person and transported the subject to Falmouth Hospital for additional care.

Sunday, March 1

11:09 AM: Police responded to a report of a man damaging a truck in the road on Seacoast Shores Boulevard. He was found to be suffering a mental health episode and was transported to the hospital for an evaluation. Officers filed a report with DCF because a 4-year-old was in the home.

Monday, March 2

12:24 PM: Officers responded to the area of Royal Circle about a suspicious man in black clothing yelling profanities and acting strangely. After a brief search, officers located him. He appeared to be under the influence of some type of narcotic. As a result, he was later transported to the hospital for evaluation.

2:51 PM: Officers responded to a home on Red Brook Road to check the welfare of a man. A family member called police after receiving text messages from him, saying he wanted to harm himself. Officers were advised that the subject had been recently expelled from a sober house and was depressed due to his current life situation. Officers searched surrounding areas, and later located him in a parking lot on Teaticket Highway. He was transported to the hospital to be evaluated.

9:34 PM: A section of Nye Road was closed after a fuel tanker delivering to the Sav-On gas station hit a utility pole.

11:49 PM: Officers arrived at Bayberry House after a resident there cut her wrist in a suicide attempt and then fled the house on foot. Police found her at the corner of Dillingham and Davis Straits. She was taken to the hospital for treatment of her injury as well as a mental health evaluation.

11:55 PM: Police administered three doses of Narcan to a man who overdosing at the Admiralty Motor Inn. He gained conscientiousness and was transported to hospital.

uesday, March 3

2:35 PM: Officers responded to a three-car car crash at the intersection of Spring Bars Road and Worcester Court. Two people involved were transported to the hospital for none life threatening

7:41 PM: The mother of an adult man reported her son had made suicidal threats to her by text. After an investigation, police learned that he was in a treatment facility in Sandwich.

Wednesday, March 4

4:15 AM: A caller reported she was driving to the hospital with her mother who was unresponsive after taking medications with alcohol. Officer arrived at the hospital and checked the woman’s status and she was alert and speaking.

4:17 AM: Police responded to a 911 call from a woman reporting she found her 47-year-old boyfriend unresponsive. Medics and officers arrived and later pronounced the man dead. Falmouth police, state police assigned to the Cape & Islands district’s attorney’s office, and the Office of the Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating; at this time, the death does not appear suspicious.
