9:07 AM: Police responded to a Barrows Road residence following a report of an unwanted guest. Police arrested Cherylun M. Andrews, 61, of Wareham on an outstanding warrant. While en route to the police station, Ms. Andrews stated she was having trouble breathing. Paramedics were called to assist. She was transported to the hospital, where she refused treatment. She was booked, then transported to court for arraignment.
3:42 PM: A caller reported a tenant at a local mental health residential home had attempted suicide by cutting her wrists. Both police and fire personnel responded to the residence. The woman was treated, then transferred to the emergency room for further treatment.

12:46 AM: Dispatch received a report that a man was having a mental health crisis and ran out of his hotel room. The man was located on Scranton Avenue. The fire department responded and transported him to the emergency room for treatment.
4:30 AM: A relative requested officers look for a family member who was brought to the emergency room for knee pain. The relative had left the hospital and her whereabouts were unknown. Police located her at the nearby Gosnold Treatment Center.
11:54 AM: Officers responded to a two-car, head-on crash near the Green Pond Yacht Club on Menauhant Road. The investigation determined the two cars were headed in opposite directions when the eastbound car veered into the oncoming lane. Both drivers suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The road was closed to through traffic between Davisville Road and Acapesket Road for approximately 45 minutes. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

6:46 AM: A staff member at a Davis Straits pharmacy reported a young man was at the front door, screaming. Police interacted with the man, who was placed into protective custody, due to his intoxication. He was transported to the emergency room for a medical evaluation.
3:23 PM: Falmouth police and fire personnel responded to a car and motorcycle crash with an injury on East Falmouth Highway. The motorcycle operator sustained a road rash, but refused medical treatment. The car driver initially did not report any injuries, but eventually requested to go to the emergency room via ambulance. Both vehicles were towed. The motorcycle driver, Douglas D. DeCoster, 25, of Davisville Road, East Falmouth, was cited for operating on one wheel and a marked lanes violation. He was also arrested on an outstanding warrant.
9:13 PM: Officers responded to Palmer Avenue following a report of an active fight near the thrift shop. Responding officers determined one of the men involved was intoxicated and was the instigator. In order to get him under control, police had to pepper spray him. The man was transported to the emergency room, due to his intoxication and physical injuries sustained during the fight. The victim refused medical treatment and was transported to his house. Criminal charges, including assault with a knife, are pending.

1:40 AM: Officers responded to the emergency room where the intoxicated man involved in the earlier fight was causing a disturbance. He was disruptive and disorderly, and was demanding to leave without a sober person. He remained uncooperative when police arrived. Police booked the man, whose blood alcohol content tested at .18 percent.
4:39 PM: Officers responded to a Waquoit residence following a report of an intoxicated and disorderly man. Police located the man and found there was a trespass notice against him. Police arrested Hosea L. White, 59, of Mashpee for trespassing. He was also placed in protective custody.

7:32 AM: Police responded to a single-car crash on Brick Kiln Road involving a white Camaro that appeared to have spun out and struck a guard rail on the off-ramp. There were no reported injuries. The occupants were picked up by a relative. The car was towed from the scene. The driver was issued a citation.

2:09 PM: Several callers reported an erratic driver travelling on Chapoquoit Road toward West Falmouth Highway. Witnesses reported that the vehicle was crossing into the oncoming lane and had struck the guardrail on numerous occasions. Officers responded to the area and conducted a traffic stop on Brick Kiln Road. The operator was determined to be intoxicated and taken into custody without incident. Police charged Maureen P. Williamson, 55, of Corrine Drive in East Falmouth with operating under the influence of liquor (2nd offense), negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation and leaving the scene of property damage.

5:15 AM: A caller reported that a convenience store on Route 151 was “wide open” and no employee was anywhere to be found. A second caller stated that people were “helping themselves” to items. Officers arrived and discovered a note on the door stating “store closed.” Officers remained on site until the store manager responded and stated the employee must have quit. There were piles of money on the counter from customers leaving cash for items, and the manager stated he would review the surveillance video to track purchases and would contact the investigating officer to file a report if anything was stolen.
