Thursday, November 11

4:42 PM: Officers were dispatched to Shaw’s grocery store for a report of a bag that had been left behind that contained narcotics. Upon further examination there were no drugs, but there was drug paraphernalia. The owner of the bag arrived and had an outstanding arrest warrant. Gabriel A. Johnson, 19, of Falmouth was placed under arrest.

10:20 PM: Officers were dispatched to an apartment off Queen Street for a report that an intoxicated man was running around outside. His girlfriend called police requesting assistance in locating him. Police discovered that the landlord did not want the man in the apartment. Officers noted that he was not intoxicated. He was transported to a hotel where he got a room for the night.

Friday, November 12

4:20 AM: A 911 report of a suspicious person on Air Park Drive attempting to enter cars. Officers located a 44-year-old woman having a mental health crisis. She was brought to the emergency room via ambulance for a mental health evaluation.

Saturday, November 13

2:18 AM: Residents and guests of an Old Barnstable Road home were using a loud karaoke system in their yard. An officer spoke with the homeowner, who said it was a friend’s birthday party, that it was ending and that they would be taking it in for the night.

Sunday, November 14

10:15 AM: A man was administered naloxone by friends while driving to the hospital. They called 911 and waited for the ambulance. Medics also administered Narcan and other lifesaving efforts, but he died.

Monday, November 15

7:06 AM: Police responded to a three-car crash at the intersection of Route 151 and Cloverfield Way. Two people were transported to the hospital by ambulance with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Two of the three cars required a tow due to heavy damage. One driver was cited for failing to yield in an intersection and another driver was cited for a seat belt violation.

7:06 PM: An officer located a suspicious motor vehicle at the Bartolomei Conservation parking area on Sandwich Road. The driver was in possession of brass knuckles and subsequently arrested. During an inventory of the vehicle, a firearm was located. Spenser K. Johnathan, 27, of Falmouth was charged with two counts of carrying a dangerous weapon, two counts of possession of ammunition without an FID card, possession of a large capacity firearm, possession of a large capacity feeding device, and carrying a loaded large capacity firearm on a way.

Tuesday, November 16

6:45 PM: Officers were dispatched to a head-on crash on Route 28 South near Thomas B. Landers Road. Falmouth and state police responded, along with the fire department. There was no evidence of a crash. Follow-up calls made by dispatch revealed that there was a wrong-way driver but that an unknown driver was able to get the offending car turned around. There was no information about the vehicles involved or the drivers.

8:34 PM: Officers responded to a Sam Turner Road home to check the welfare of a man who sent concerning texts to an acquaintance. Officers spoke with the man and offered assistance. A mental health follow-up check will be conducted.

10:25 PM: An off-duty officer from Martha’s Vineyard reported an erratically operated vehicle on Route 28 North. An officer responded but the vehicle exited onto Route 151. Another officer made contact with the vehicle just over the Mashpee town line on 151 and Mashpee police took over the stop.

Wednesday, November 17

7:09 PM: Officers were dispatched to the Steamship Authority terminal for a man who refused to get off of the bus. He was found to be extremely intoxicated and was placed in protective custody. His breath test results were .38.

8:20 PM: Officers were dispatched to a fight at the Trade Center Bowl apartments. One person fled prior to arrival. A 79-year-old man suffered a back injury and was transported to the emergency room. The suspect was thought to be heading to Yarmouth. A law enforcement bulletin was sent out for the arrest of Joshua Lafrange, 29, of Mashpee for assault and battery on a person 60 years of age or older.

Thursday, November 18

7:14 PM: Officers were dispatched to a Crooked Meadow Road residence for a man trying to gain entry to the residence. The homeowner confronted him and they got into an altercation. The parties were advised to seek their own criminal complaints at Falmouth District Court.
