Police arrested a Falmouth man on drug and motor vehicles charges Wednesday, May 13.

At 9:30 PM police responded to a call of an erratic driver in the Main Street area. The car was passing other cars and operating in an unsafe manner, according to police. The driver, Zachary James Nahigian, 28, of Main Street, Falmouth, failed the field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest. During the booking process, police found a small quantity of prescription pills. He was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, possession of a class E drug, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation. He was released on personal recognizance.
