Herlihy Anniversary

Michael W. and Donna G. Herlihy of Falmouth will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with their family on Saturday, June 27.

College student Donna Tolsma and US Air Force Sergeant Mike Herlihy met while on vacation in Nassau, Bahamas. They were married in her hometown of Buffalo, New York.

They have lived in Falmouth for 49 years.

Mr. Herlihy worked for the Department of Mental Health in southern New England, including Pocasset and Martha’s Vineyard. He was also a real estate buyer broker in town for many years.

Ms. Herlihy was employed as the Morse Pond School librarian for 22 years.

Mr. and Ms. Herlihy both volunteer at the Falmouth Service Center.

Their children, Jennifer Herlihy Rakeman of Barrington, Rhode Island, Amy Herlihy of Barrington, Rhode Island, and Jeffrey Herlihy of Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, will be honoring the couple with a small event at their home. Their six grandchildren will lead the celebration.
