US Senator Edward J. Markey and Congressman William R. Keating welcomed US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo to Woods Hole Friday, June 4, to tour the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration’s Northeast Fisheries Science Center.

The purpose of Secretary Raimondo’s visit was to learn more about the state-of-the-art ocean research technology and the importance of the Woods Hole science community.
